U.S. President Joe Biden announces further military assistance to Ukraine in worth of $800 million including heavy artillery as Ukraine prepares to defeat Russian assault in eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian president Pelotomer Zelinski had been pleading with u.s and european leaders to provide heavier arms and equipment as his country faced an invasion that has killed thousands and displaced millions.
The pentagon spokesperson John Kirby told reporters the new military equipment should provide immediate help. ” These are not highly complex systems but will require additional training for Ukrainian forces” he said.
With this aid Ukraine may give a comeback or even defeat Russia.
