In german city of Hamburg, airport staff staged a strike demanding higher salaries. This strike combined with a staffing crunchers caused major delays in flights for passengers taking up the start of summer holidays. The German government plans to bring workers from Turkey to bridge the gap.
Also in Paris, a strike was held complaining of the same issue and even some workers complaint of not being able to refuel their cars or even feed their children due to the steep prices of the accormodities.
