While speaking to her fellow Republicans, Liz Cheney said that if they choose to back Trump’s lies about a stolen election, they would be undermining the great country. During her speech, she claimed that Trump’s words about the elections being stolen was a lie.
“In order to be loyal to the Constitution, we must choose not to be loyal to Donald Trump,” Cheney spoke this at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
A former aid to the Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows Cassidy Hutchinson shared shocking details about Trump’s actions on the day of the insurrection that demanded that metal detectors be taken away so as to let his armed supporters carry in their guns. This in itself shows that Trump is a dangerous man with an unstable thought process.
The U.S is facing a domestic threat we have never faced before by this man who is trying to unravel the foundation of the constitutional republic and he is aided by republican leaders and elected officials who have made themselves willing hostages to this dangerous and irrational man.
Hutchinson – whose testimony also detailed Trump’s temper tantrums and with the account the ‘president’ attempting to take control of his limousine – is just one of the many people who have come out to courageously testify including people who worked on Trump’s campaign in the Trump White House and on Capitol Hill.
This action of Hutchinson’s garnered Cheney’s support as she was speaking up against her superiors, men many years older and a number of them hiding behind executive privileges, anonymity, and intimidation. It proved her great patriotism to her country.
We urge girls and young women to aspire to leadership roles since they are vitally needed these days for running the country as its majorly the men doing it, and it is not really going well enough.
With this, Cheney criticizes President Biden’s administration for its handling of the economy and other issues as the country is now standing at the edge of the abyss and it we who must pulling it back to its right path. The American people should demand excellence from their elected officials, they must not elect people who are more loyal to themselves or to power than they are to the Constitution.
