The overturning of Roe vs Wade is much more than the freedom to end pregnancies , its a slippery slope down to christianity based conservative America and no one wants that. In the testimonies held by the christian groups, they don ot support the overturning as this will cause more deaths not lessen them. In the Jewish community, this overturning going against their religious values as Jewish law teaches ‘Life begins at birth and protects the mother first.’ The Extreme Court’s decision represents a religious view on the matter.

In other states, unwanted pregnancies are occurring daily most due rape incidents that do not even segregate ages as it happens to everyone including a 10year old in Ohio who was denied an abortion and forced to remain pregnant at that age because of rape. Pregnancies at young ages are majorly life threatening for the mothers due to their bodies not being mature enough to hold the pregnancy and most times even giving birth as it claims their young innocent lives.
Is the U.S. as independent as it claims when people’s views and lives are trampled on by a decision not voted on by its citizens but by their leaders instead? An example would be The U.S. President Joe Biden who voluntarily voted on the overturn. he goes on to even says that the overturn of Roe vs Wade should be codified into law and if the Filibuster gets in the way, they will provide them an exception just this once to deal with the Supreme Court decision.
A famous music artist Halsey gave her own testimony about how abortion saved her and her babies life. She says she is in full support of this more than ever even with the birth of her son Ender and goes on to quote “I will hold my son in one arm, and fight with all my might with the other.”
She has had three miscarriages before her 24th birthday before deciding an abortion which saved her and her son as her pregnancy was life threatening that she was required to undergo ‘after care’ a gentle way of saying she needs an abortion because her body could not terminate the pregnancy completely on its own and it would risk going into sepsis without medical intervention. It was so life threating that she even prepared her will.
With all this going on, after the release of the overturn Liz Cheney celebrated on the matter.
