Today, the judge lowered bail on Jose Alba’s murder case after proved that he was carrying out self defense on his assaulter. He was released to reunite with his family.
Jose Alba a 51 year old man was charged with a murder case and possession of a weapon when he stabbed Simon Austin in the neck and chest where he bled out. Austin was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead because of the fatality of the wounds.
Alba was a worker at the Hamilton Heights Grocery store on broadway when he was suddenly confronted by Austin when he was attending to a customer behind the counter.
Austin allegedly also a thug confronted Alba due to a bag of chips where he pushed the worker into the counter threateningly. Alba managed to grab a knife that was besides the counter stabbing him in the neck and chest. this was carried out as an act of self defense.
