DR. Anthony Fauci is an American physician and immunologist serving as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, he is also the chief advisor to the president Joe Biden.
In one of Dr. Fauci’s interviews, he admittedly said that “Data shows that even though vaccines do not protect overly well as it is against infections because of the high degree of transmissivity of the virus, they actually quite well protect against severe disease leading to hospitalization and death.”
Fauci believes that is the reason why at his age being vaccinated and boasted, even though it did not protect him from the infection, it actually protected him against progressing to a severe disease and that is why he had a relatively mild course.
His message to people that seem confused because of those who got vaccinated but still got the infection, is that if they were not vaccinated, there is a chance that they would have had a severe case compared to those who were vaccinated.
