After impregnating two female inmates earlier this year, a transgender woman imprisoned at an only women’s prison was moved to another facility.

Demi Minor a 27 year old, was moved last month from Edna Mahan Correctional Facility which serves as a prison for young adult offenders in Burlington county.
Minor is serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter, was placed in the vulnerable unit. The transfer came after the papers reported in April that two women at Edna Mahan became pregnant after consensual sexual relationships with another inmate.
Minor reported in a July 15 post written on her website Justice 4 Demi claiming officers beat her during her transfer. The department of corrections offered no comment on this matter.
Edna Mahan facility has faced a long string of sex assault scandals which led Gov. Phil Murphy to announce his plans to shutter the facility.
